Shilajit is a mineral rich exudate that seeps from rock faces in high altitude regions during the warmer months. Ours is sourced from the Himalayan belt across North India and Nepal, where it has been collected and used in Ayurvedic practice for centuries as a rasayana, or rejuvenative.
Raw shilajit as collected is not usable. It carries rock debris, plant matter, and other insoluble material, so almost everything that determines quality happens in the processing. Ours is purified by water based extraction with repeated washings, and standardized for fulvic and humic acid content.
Our Shilajit Resin is supplied in the traditional semi-solid resin form that is sticky and dense.
