Boswellia serrata powder is made from the gum resin of the Indian Frankincense tree. The resin is carefully cleaned, then dried and milled into fine powder. Boswellia has a long history in Ayurvedic practice, where the resin is known as salai guggul and used both on its own and as a component in classical formulations.
